How to Attach Files to FAQs?

You can easily attach a file to an FAQ in Knowmax. Here’s how:

  1. Create FAQs as usual. Learn how to create a decision tree here.
  2. Select the FAQ where you want to add an attachment, then click “Browse” to proceed.
  3. An “Attach Files” dialog box will open. Click “Upload from Computer” to add a file from your device or “Choose from Library” if the file is already stored in your knowledge base.
  4. Click “Select” to attach the chosen file.
  5. Once attached, click “SAVE & PROCEED” to continue or “SAVE AS A DRAFT” to edit later.
  6. On the preview screen, click the Link Icon to preview the attachment.
  7. Review the attached file and close the preview once done.
  8. Click “UPLOAD FOR APPROVAL” to submit the FAQ for review or “BACK” to make further edits.
  9. A dialog box will appear asking about language preferences. Click “No” to publish the FAQ in the current language or “Yes” to auto-translate and publish it in other preferred languages.

And that’s it! Once approved, your FAQ will be published, making attachments easily accessible to users. Keep your FAQs updated, and ensure customers always have the right information at their fingertips.
