Freshchat Integration

The Freshchat Application is used to handle customer queries over chat and backend team has to extract the solution from Knowledge management portal so both will work in isolation. Because of Freshchat and Knowmax integration, user doesn’t require to enter information separately to get issue resolved. The query will be passed though KM search and basis on this resolution will be displayed.

Prerequisites:

  • Must have Freshchat admin user access
  • Must have subscription to Knowledge management portal by which token will be generated for integration.
Steps to Integrate

Steps to Integrate

  1. Login as Admin User in Knowledge Management portal > Company Settings > Generate Token Button
  2. Open Freshchat Application as an admin user and Search for Knowmax Application in Freshchat Marketplace
  3. Click on Install to download and setup the app on Freshchat server
  4. Put KM provided Token and Domain Details to complete the setup

Once setup will complete now user will chat with customer and parallel to that he can search content in KM search integrated inside freshchat. The provided solutions can be designed in picture guide, decision tree ,FAQ or article format.
