How to Create a Knowledge Base Article?

You can easily create knowledge-based articles with Knowmax. Here’s how:

  1. Click on the Hamburger Icon to open the Navigation Menu.
  2. From the left-side panel, open the drop-down menu under the Articles section and select the “Create” option.
  3. A page will open asking how you want to create the article. Click “Single Page Article” to make an article manually or “Templates” to use a pre-designed template.
  4. Enter the title, select a template name, and click “Continue” to create the article.
  5. Write your article and use the above WYSIWYG editor toolbar to format and edit it.
  6. When done, click on “SAVE & PROCEED” to continue or “SAVE AS A DRAFT” to edit later.
  7. Select a category for the article.
  8. Select the departments and channels where you want to distribute the article.
  9. Preview the article and click “Summarize” to generate an AI summary.
  10. Preview the article summary, and once you’re done, close the preview to continue.
  11. Click “UPLOAD FOR APPROVAL” to submit the article for review or “BACK” to make further edits.
  12. A dialog box will appear asking if you want to publish the article in other languages. Click “NO” to publish in the current language or “YES” to auto-translate and publish in other preferred languages.

And that’s it! Once approved, your articles go live and become accessible to users. Keep them updated for a smoother customer experience.
