How to Bulk Upload FAQs?

You can easily bulk upload FAQs in Knowmax. Here’s how:

  1. On the admin dashboard, click the Hamburger Icon to open the Navigation Menu.
  2. From the left-side panel, expand the “FAQ” section and select “Create.”
  3. A new page will appear asking what type of FAQs you want to create. Click “UPLOAD IN BULK” to upload an FAQ Excel file or select “FAQ” to manually create FAQs.
  4. Enter the title of the FAQ batch and press “Continue” to proceed.
  5. The FAQ Bulk Upload page will open. Click “Sample file” to download an Excel template for bulk FAQ creation.
  6. Open the downloaded template and enter FAQ questions in Column A and their corresponding answers in Column B.
  7. Once completed, save the file. If working on the cloud, download an offline copy before proceeding.
  8. Return to the FAQ Bulk Upload page. In the upload section, click “Choose File” to select your saved FAQ file.
  9. Click “Upload” to proceed with the bulk upload.
  10. Once the file is uploaded, scroll down to “Select worksheet to import”, choose Sheet 1, and click “Import Sheet” to continue.
  11. Your FAQ questions and answers will now appear under two tabs – Valid Records and Invalid Records.
  12. Review all FAQ entries for accuracy. Any missing information, formatting errors, or incomplete entries will appear under “Invalid Records.” If errors exist, correct them in the Excel file and re-upload it.
  13. Once verified, click “SAVE & PROCEED” to continue or “SAVE AS A DRAFT” to edit later.
  14. Select the category, department, and channels for secure distribution of the FAQ.
  15. Preview the uploaded FAQ batch for accuracy.
  16. Click “UPLOAD FOR APPROVAL” to submit the FAQs for review or “BACK” to make changes.
  17. A dialog box will appear asking whether you want to translate the FAQs. Click “No” to publish them in the current language or “Yes” to auto-translate and publish them in other preferred languages.

And that’s it! Once saved, your FAQs will be ready for review and approval. Once published, users will instantly have access to accurate answers, making information retrieval seamless. Keep your FAQs updated and easily accessible across your CX channels to enhance customer experience.
